Great pit and grill

As a pit alone it’s solid but the grill additions and design make this my favorite outdoor cooking purchase ever.

It's an Obsession

I bought this for my fiancee for Christmas. He made the mistake of cooking prime Ribeyes on it as our first-use meal, and I have never had a more delicious steak in my life.
He has been open-fire cooking for almost 5 years now, and this grill is already a game changer. Everything has turned out perfectly- from steak to sausages to baby back ribs.
We are not charcoal or gas grill fans, and finding a replacement for our old fire pit/grill combo was extremely difficult.
When I asked him if he wanted me to leave a 5 star review, he looked at me like I was insane for even asking.

Best Open Fire Grill!

I bought the Cowboy Grill for my husband for his birthday. We used it twice now and we love it. It’s the perfect height and size. We have easily taken the legs off to create a fire pit and easily put them back on to raise back to grill height. The movable split grill grates allow easy access to the fire. I feel we enjoy the act of cooking more. It also gets us outside in colder weather feeling cozy and warm as we huddle around it cooking. Perfect for a family meal event. Perfect just for two people!
The horizontal bar is great for hanging utensils for easy access and we look forward to using it for Thanksgiving this year to both grill and hang meats and vegetables. Best purchase of the year if you love cooking. Actually, if you have become weary of grilling, you may just fall back in love if you own this grill.

Dig it

I was a little concerned about how tough/durable it would be, but so far it does what it does very well. It's quick to adjust to whatever needs you have and it looks sharp when it's up and roaring.

We plan to buy some of the the accessories based on our experience. Well done, Barebones.

Mmmm that campfire flavor

I’ve always enjoyed cooking over an open fire and this Cowboy Fire Pit Grill work’s perfectly. It’s at the right height for a 6’ cook. It’s made very sturdy, a good gauge of steel and still isn’t too heavy for transport. I bought an extra grill and side table and all together it is very versatile.
The grill poles and crossover are sturdy enough for hanging a full 12” Dutch oven and the grills are strong enough not slope with a heavy item.
I leveled the grill on setup and cooked Paella in a 20” pan easily.
This was worth the investment especially if you like good cooking on an open fire.
