  • Currency & Pricing: All prices displayed on our Site are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices for our products are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
  • Reseller & Fraud Protection: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including orders that appear to be placed by unauthorized distributors, resellers, or liquidators. If we suspect a false or fraudulent order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and notify relevant fraud prevention authorities.
  • Visual Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colors, finishes, and designs of our products as accurately as possible. However, because actual colors depend on your monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that your display will be 100% accurate.

Product Characteristics, Artisanal Craftsmanship & Care

Barebones products, including cast-iron cookware, stainless-steel and high-carbon-steel blades, LED lanterns, brass instruments, and handcrafted gardening tools are built from natural and heritage materials intended for outdoor and utilitarian use.

  • Natural Aging & Patina: You acknowledge that materials such as untreated brass, copper, high-carbon steel, and solid woods naturally age, oxidize, and develop a unique patina over time through normal exposure to air, moisture, and use. This natural evolution is an intentional design characteristic and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • Maintenance & Seasoning: Products such as cast iron and high-carbon steel blades require regular cleaning, oiling, and seasoning as specified in our official Product Care Guides. Damage, surface rust, or corrosion resulting from improper seasoning, moisture exposure, or improper storage is not covered as a product defect.

  • WARNING: Certain products sold on this website—including brass components, coated metal hardware, and outdoor fire pits or combustion accessories—can expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Limited 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Barebones products are backed by either a Limited 2-Year Warranty or a Limited Lifetime Warranty from the original date of purchase, depending on the product category. These warranties cover defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship under normal, non-commercial consumer use.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, commercial use, accident, alterated/modified products, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care and maintenance instructions (e.g., surface rust on cast iron).
  • Warranty Claims: To initiate a warranty claim or review full policy details, please contact customer support at support@barebonesliving.com.

General Conditions & Account Security

  • Age of Majority: By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
  • Prohibited Uses: You may not use our website or products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any federal, state, or local laws (including intellectual property laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or destructive code.
  • Account Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all orders placed at our store. You agree to promptly update your account details, including your email address and payment details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

User Reviews, Comments & Submissions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this Site constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and Barebones Living, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service, your access to and use of the Site, and any purchase of products through the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Any legal action, lawsuit, or judicial proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Mobile Message Service Terms (SMS Marketing & Notifications)

Barebones Living operates the Barebones mobile messaging service (the "SMS Service"). Your participation in the SMS Service constitutes your agreement to these Mobile Terms.

  • Opt-In & Consent: By consenting to Barebones’ SMS messaging service at checkout or through sign-up forms, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional and transactional text messages (e.g., order updates, shipping alerts, cart reminders) from Barebones to the mobile phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Cost & Frequency: Barebones does not charge for the SMS Service; however, standard message and data rates imposed by your mobile wireless carrier may apply. Message frequency varies.
  • Opt-Out Instructions: You may opt out of the SMS Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +1 (855) 479-0491 or click the unsubscribe link in any text message to cancel. You will receive one final text message confirming your cancellation.
