As a Certified B Corporation, we ensure that our commitment to safe, ethical, and sustainable practices is upheld by each company and artisan that touches our products worldwide, without exception.

We recommend cleaning the fire bowl after each use to help ensure the longevity of the pit and prevent any fire hazards.

Allow the fire pit bowl to cool completely: Wait until the ashes and embers are cold and no longer burning. This may take several hours or even overnight.

Remove any debris: Using a brush or broom, sweep out any ashes, twigs, or other debris that may be left in the bowl. Dispose of the debris in a container designed for ash disposal, such as a metal trash can or bucket.

Scrape off any remaining debris: Use a metal scraper or wire brush to remove any remaining debris from the surface of the bowl.

Wash the bowl with water: Fill a bucket with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Use a sponge or cloth to scrub the bowl, making sure to reach all areas. Rinse the bowl thoroughly with clean water.

Dry the bowl: Use a towel to dry the bowl completely. Make sure that there is no water remaining in the bowl before storing it, as any moisture can cause rust or other damage to the metal.

By following these simple steps, you can keep your Cowboy Fire Pit clean and well-maintained, ensuring that it lasts for many years to come.

*If rust or extensive wear persists, a protective coating can be applied to the fire pit bowl.

Cleaning your Grill Grate
Brush your grill grate after every use and thoroughly clean the grill grate every few months depending on usage.

For thorough cleansing, remove the grill grate and place it into warm soapy water. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes.
After your grill grate has soaked, remove it from the soapy water and scrub thoroughly with a long-handled grill brush.
For stubborn grease, form a paste using one cup water and three cups baking soda and scrub thoroughly with a long-handled grill brush. When finished scrubbing, rinse the grill grate clean. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
When dry, rub the grill grate with a light coating of cooking oil, like olive or avocado.

Q: Can I store the Cowboy Fire Pit Grill outside for extended periods of time?
A: The Cowboy Fire Pit Grill is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your products indoors after use to help them last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase replacements.

fun, social way to cook a meal

I've been eyeballing the cowboy grills for a couple of years. This year, I finally got one. We didn't have any firewood on hand so we used charcoal for our first cooking foray with this grill, and we think we need to use firewood. When only cooking for two people, the bowl is so deep that you have to use a LOT of charcoal to get the heat high-up enough to cook a steak. But, we've had a good time with it. The side table and overhead bar for hanging utensils are brilliant. I'm looking forward to making a cast-iron pot stew next. Excellent grill set-up. Nicely made.

    Great camping grill

We go camping for two weeks every summer and we replaced our old firepit with this one, and we loved it. The legs put it high enough that cooking over it was much easier than a lower one, and as a bonus, the smoke (stupid green wood!) floated over people's heads instead of into faces. We cooked over this fire every day, and it never let us down.
