Wipe clean of dirt, water, and fingerprints regularly and store in a dry place. To maintain the look and functionality, occasionally apply a thin coat of protective oil. Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any larger dings or nicks in the scissors. The edge can be honed with a medium sharpening disk or stone.

Q: How do I protect the finish?
A: The finish is designed to stand up to normal use. Avoid using abrasive surfaces and steel wool when cleaning.

Q: Can I use alcohol to clean the blades?
A: Yes, you can safely clean the blades with standard rubbing alcohol.

Q: Can I store my garden tools outside for extended periods of time?
A: Garden tools are not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your garden tools indoors after use to help them last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

    Great for Basil and Rosemary

    I like using this to trim the tops/flowers of the basil to prolong the growing season. The snips work great for a quick removal and harvesting some leaves for the next round of pesto. I really like the way it allows me the strip off the leaves. I also use it for the thyme too. Well made and fits nicely in my hand.
