Hori Hori Ultimate Knife

Originally designed to mimic the popular Japanese Garden Knife, hori hori roughly translates to “dig dig”. This hearty multi-purpose tool is built for versatility. Use it in your backyard, camping, bush-crafting, or anywhere you need it. Pound in tent stakes with the flat pommel base. Measure planting depth with the handy inch marks. Saw a branch or whittle kindling with the rust-resistant doubled edge.

Smooth and durable walnut seamlessly fit with the heat-tempered 6 ¾” pointed blade for a tool that just feels good in your hand. Added twine cutter doubles as a bottle opener, so you can enjoy a refreshing beverage of your choice after a hard day’s work.

This elevated version of the hori hori has the option of an added durable 900D polyester sheath with reinforced lining. Clip it to your belt for easy access on any adventure.

Unfortunately made in China

Classic useful Japanese gardening tool. Seems sturdy (so far). Overall handle profile provides good grip- might round the corners a bit more- the wider flat portion provides sufficient leverage to maintain grip orientation as needed. Time will tell how well it will hold up to long term usage.

That's a knife...

Got this for my mother for an early mother's day present. She loves it!

beast

The union of a quality trowel and a machete would produce something like this beast. Possibly a bit large and/or heavy for some gardeners. They recommend oiling it between uses. That will happen infrequently here, so I hope I don't see rust.
