The Ideal Chopping Axe
Splitting wood in the fresh mountain air has never been so satisfying. Swing the weighted head with ease as its wide-angle, 1055 high carbon steel split blade keeps its edge time after time. The 1/3” solid steel core through the wood handle secures the head with a tightening hex bolt and connects it to the steel pommel end to help you maneuver easily around rooting and trenching.
This is a beautiful looking axe but not hefty enough for splitting more than kindling. The handle broke after splitting two medium sized logs the first day I had it.

The perfect weight; very rugged yet still Beautiful! Bought as a gift and it was very well received!
Purchased as I have been wanting a pulaski axe and this one is too gorgeous not to get. In person it looks just as good and has nice build quality. Sadly I returned it because the handle is only 21" long meaning anyone of adult height cannot use this for grubbing AKA the specific reason you buy a pulaski axe over a standard woods axe. You will be bent over far too much to comfortably use this for digging. The steel core handle makes it inconvenient to fit a longer handle, so I would have to recommend purchasing another axe if you want to use the adze side. For reference, a boy's axe is around 28" handle length, and standard/full size is 36" length.
Thank you for this feedback! We will share it with our Product and Development team.
I purchased this axe for my husband for Christmas. He hasn't had a chance to use it yet, but he loves it so much that he is displaying it in our entryway. It's the first thing people see when they walk in the door. Perhaps we'll keep it there when our daughter and son start dating.
My husband loves the weight, feel, swing of it so far. It's beautifully crafted and balanced. We couldn't be more satisfied!
