A modern twist on Union Pacific vintage lanterns of the 1920's, the Railroad Lantern features seeded glass globe and copper accents, making this a unique light for a curated dinner table, historical home decor, or at a wilderness campsite. High-tech and functional, the Railroad Lantern utilizes rechargeable lithium battery providing 100+ hours of illumination on low, or 3.5 hours on high. Adjustable brightness LED Edison-style bulb delivers a classic warm glow, perfect for every occasion. Lantern can also be used without battery as a 12v lighting source, allowing infinite illumination as a classic home decor item.

Q: Why is my Railroad Lantern not charging?
A: The Railroad Lantern requires a specific charging cable and wall adaptor to charge properly. Please ensure you're using the supplied USB-A to USB-C charging cord, along with a wall charger rated for 5V/3A.

Q: Is a battery included with purchase?
A: Yes, the battery is individually wrapped in your box.

Q: Should I remove the plastic covering on the included battery?
A: No. The plastic covering is a safety mechanism. Do not remove the plastic battery cover before inserting the battery into the railroad lantern.

Q: How do I install the battery?
A: For optimal performance charge battery fully before use.

Step 1: Turn the lower housing counterclockwise to unlock and expose the battery slot.
Step 2: Hold the lantern upside down and insert the battery top down into the battery slot. The top of the battery is marked with a "+" icon.
Step 3: Reattach the lower housing by pressing down, and turning clockwise until it locks.

Q: Can I store the Railroad Lantern outside for extended periods of time?
A: The Railroad Lantern is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your lantern indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

Treated myself to one of these a few weeks ago. I keep it on my nightstand. It's perfect for waking up and winding down when I want a little bit of ambient light without a jarring amount. Will be buying more. Highly recommend.

Just Perfect!
I love my new Railroad Lantern! It is the perfect addition to my outdoor dining table. I really like the unlimited dimming feature and being able to USB charge it. Much higher quality than other lanterns currently available and ones I have had in the past. I like this lantern so much that I have also purchased the Outpost and Edison Mini lanterns. Thank you Barebones!
