Country of Origin:
This product is proudly made in China. As a Certified B Corporation, we ensure that our commitment to safe, ethical, and sustainable practices is upheld by each company and artisan that touches our products worldwide, without exception.

Axe Head:
Apply a thin coat of protective oil after each use. Wipe clean of dirt, water, and fingerprints regularly. Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any larger dings or nicks in the blade. The edge can be honed with a medium sharpening disk or stone.

An extra steel ring wedge comes with the axe should the head come loose. Pound the wooden wedge into the top of the axe handle then secure it with the steel ring wedge by hammering it until the top of the axe head is secure and flush.

Sheath:
Waxed canvas should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. It can be cleaned carefully by hand. Brush off the loose dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, gently scrub with a brush, then let air dry. If stains persist, use mild bar soap or saddle soap.

After cleaning, waxed canvas may need to be re-waxed. To do so, use a wax conditioner and apply following the manufacturer's instructions.

Q: How do I sharpen the blade?
A: Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any larger dings or nicks in the blade. The edge can be honed with a medium sharpening disk or stone.

Q: Why 900D Polyester?
A: 900D polyester is water-resistant, resistant to bacteria, and very durable, which makes it ideal for extended use in the outdoors.

Q: Can I store my axe outside for extended periods of time?
A: The Felling Axe is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your axe indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

Thanks Rodney! We couldn't agree more. While this is smaller than the typical Felling Axe, it's the ideal portable axe for the reasons you mentioned. Glad you're enjoying it!

    Beautiful and Functional

Incredible Axe for everyday use. Wouldn't call this a full lumberjack Axe but is the perfect weight for camping and backyard needs. If you're felling trees every day, I don't think this is the Axe for you. If you want a "hobby" axe that can be your trusty go-to but not weigh a million pounds, this is the right choice. Looks great too.

    Good tool

It works for me however didn't look like the photos had a lacker type finish to it so , I had to sand it down to look they way I wanted it too. It has been fast to work chopping wood for the backyard wood burner and the smoker.

    Not a felling axe.

The head to handle fit is nice. Length is ok but through my own fault of not paying attention I didn't realize that it is definitely not a felling axe. Very good camp axe but that's it
