Photos and Recipe By Melanie Hutti; Gypsy Hill Photography
Winter brings with it cold outdoor adventures, marching through snow to our favorite outlooks and snow parks. A hot beverage tucked away in a thermos is essential for warming creaky bones and cold hands, and this mulled cider does the trick.
To “mull” something simply means to add heat and flavor with spices.
This cider accomplishes both: warmed just right over hot coals with whole clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon added for a touch of seasoning. This recipe can be used with ginger beer or wine depending on your palate.
