Our Enamelware rim is heat-treated to create a bronze-like patina finish. Both the plate surface and rim can be stripped of its unique coloring by acidic foods, such as lemon, and some harsh detergents and cleansers. Enamelware is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to help maintain the original look and feel of the pieces.

To hand wash: Use a gentle, natural cleanser. Soak the products in warm, soapy water to help remove baked-on food. Gently wipe away residue. Avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface.

Q: Can I microwave the enamelware?
A: No, enamelware contains metal and is not microwave-safe.

Q: Is the enamelware dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend hand-washing to help maintain the original look and feel of the pieces. When washing by hand, avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes. See full care instructions for more tips on maintaining your enamelware’s finish.

Q: Is the enamelware oven safe?
A: Yes, the enamelware is oven safe to 500°F.

Q: Is the enamelware freezer safe?
A: Yes, enamelware is freezer safe. It will not crack or break under normal freezer temperatures.

Q: Can I use my enamelware outdoors?
A: Yes, our enamelware was designed to be durable enough for indoor/outdoor use.

Q: Can I store my enamelware outside for extended periods of time?
A: Enamelware is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your enamelware indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

Q: Is the rim on the enamelware copper?
A: No, the rim on the enamelware is heat-treated stainless steel which gives it a bronze-like patina effect. This process will give a variety of tones making each rim unique.

Q: Is enamelware safe to use if it is chipped?
A: Enamelware is an extremely durable, strong material. Over time and with constant use, chips are possible. We recommend not using the product if there is a sharp crack that may cause injury. A small chip, however, will not affect the safety of the product.

Q: Can my teapot go directly over the fire?
A: Yes. The teapot is safe to be used over fire. Some blackening may occur and can be cleaned.
Note: If handle is laying against teapot body it is at risk of overheating and burning. Keep handle upright by leaning against handle stopper located on only one side of the teapot.

LOVE

I've been looking for a teapot for over a year now, and was picky enough to wait until I found one I could keep out on my stove all the time. This is the one I went with, and I do NOT regret it! It heats up super fast, it's light, it's durable, and it's ADORABLE. I couldn't love it anymore than I do. Absolutely recommend!

Almost perfect…

I wanted to love this pot so much, it’s a great style, love the wide lid/fill area, and is built to last. Sadly, because I wanted to use it as an everyday tea kettle, it was smaller than what we needed (it didn’t quite fill our 50 oz French press coffee maker, necessitating two batches.) I did keep it for other uses, but it’s put away rather than sitting on our stove as I had hoped. If you’re boiling smaller quantities it would be perfect.

Affordable

Yes, in comparing this tea pot to authentic yixing ones, this is definitely a good value for the price. It’s longevity will last in its materials and ability to swap between different heating methods. It is very stylish, will match with most any aesthetic and the contents within will heat up quickly depending on what heat source one uses (which is a good thing!) And it beats trying to use one’s food pots as a way of heating water. The only negative is getting used to the handle of the pot and the lid. Each are rather good at not getting hot, but when pouring out the steam that escapes can discomfort one’s hand due to how close in proximity the handles/metal surfaces are with each other. Though, this might not be a cause for concern at all if left to cool.
