The back to nature movement was born in 1915 with the first known recreational vehicle trip across the country. It caught the attention of mass media, and Americans fell in love with the idea of deluxe vehicles that could house everything they needed. As the middle class expanded in the 1920s, so did the ability for many to vacation and recreate as a hobby. People looked to find an oasis from the loud, busy urban sprawl and set forth on RV trailer vacations. This type of luxury camping was a step up from "roughing it" in a tent, but the sentiment was the same: spend time in the great outdoors with the people you loved.
Our new limited edition colors pay tribute to these iconic camp trailers of the past. They are a celebration of the pilgrimage into nature that we still yearn for today.
