Barebones in Jordan

Barebones in Jordan

“We rise by lifting others.” This belief is central to the mission of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, a Jordanian relief group that has been working to help people in need for nearly 30 years. Currently, JHCO is providing aid to Syrian refugees along the northern border of Jordan.

Ongoing conflict in Syria has displaced millions of people over the last several years, creating an influx of refugees in neighboring countries, including Jordan. In accordance with their mission, JHCO is working diligently to provide needed services, shelter, and care to those who’ve come to their country seeking safe harbor from the Syrian civil war. Recently, we shipped 85 donated Barebones tents to support their work, which they are using as housing, mobile medical units, and administrative offices. We’re humbled that in some small way we have been part of JHCO’s quest to lift others.
