Couples Outdoor Cast Iron Cooking Workshop

Couples Outdoor Cast Iron Cooking Workshop

Taught by Ashley Rodriguez ~ a James Beard Award nominee

After spending a beautiful day getting just a taste of her live fire cooking at Camp Campari late in the summer, we couldn’t wait for the excuse to get together again with Ashley Rodriguez of Not Without Salt. The allure of cast iron fondue cooked over an open flame only sweetened the deal!

This time we rallied up a handful of couples and friends eager to spend their Friday night learning all of Ashley’s favorite tips on spending more time cooking outside and more time making the most of the time we get to spend with the people we care about most as we hosted our first outdoor cooking workshop just outside of our Salt Lake City retail location.

From toasting spices to layer in a little depth to your cider, to tossing foil-pack dinners right into the roaring flames, Ashley took the intimidation right out of cooking with fire. Use your nose, follow your intuition, and most importantly—just get outside with people you enjoy and get started.
