A spading fork is an excellent tool for scooping, lifting, and tossing hay or compost, but it also works well to aerate the soil, pry small roots, and move mulch in the garden or on the farm.

Break up bulky weeds, dig trenches for irrigation, or cover up campfire coals with our Folding Shovel. Manganese steel head stays sharp and accurate through hard and soft soil and allows for multiple working positions.

Both feature a durable beechwood handle that fits comfortably in hand and will last through years of use. Easy twist, 3-position lock to collapse the head for more compact storage. Great for the backyard or as camping essential.

Care

Shovel & Fork:
Apply a thin coat of protective oil after each use. Wipe clean of dirt, water, and fingerprints regularly. Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any larger dings or nicks in the blade. The edges can be honed with a medium sharpening disk or stone.

Sheath:
Waxed canvas should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. It can be cleaned carefully by hand. Brush off the loose dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, gently scrub with a brush, then let air dry. If stains persist, use mild bar soap or saddle soap.

After cleaning, waxed canvas may need to be re-waxed. To do so, use a wax conditioner and apply following the manufacturer's instructions.

FAQ

Q: How do I adjust the position of the shovel?
A: The shovel head can pivot to be fully extended, perpendicular, or fold flat with the shaft for storage. To adjust the position of the shovel, loosen the fastening nut by twisting counterclockwise. Once in the desired position, twist the fastening nut clockwise until tightened securely.

Q: Why 900D Polyester?
A: 900D polyester is water-resistant, resistant to bacteria, and very durable which makes it ideal for extended use in the outdoors.

Q: Can I store my tools outside for extended periods of time?
A: The shovel & fork are not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your tools indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.
