This transition is expected and is not a flaw. Charge every 9-12 months when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q: Can I store the Block Tower System outside for extended periods?
A: The Block Tower is not meant to be stored outside for long periods. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause unnecessary wear and tear and damage. We recommend storing your products indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

Love this system!
I am a sucker for brass, the old school feel, etc - and the nostalgia of this was perfect. It was an instant purchase, and although it is on the pricey side, I absolutely love the product. I miss when technology was simple, and intuitive, and this has that. Another reason that prompted the purchase was needing a charging station for my small devices just for when I come home - and couldn't settle on anything I liked, but when I saw this - knew it was the one. Beautiful, functional, love that you can separate each piece and use them in different spots - the speaker sounds good for the size, and the pairing is simple, and the lantern is VERY cool - and I have found it very useful for regular use - because of the extremes in the brightness settings. It can be very low, almost moonlight, to a fairly good lumen output, so I find it fun to carry it around while im doing things at home, and then if you did want to take any aspect of this out in the wild, it's sure to get some looks, and questions - because it's just simply a cool system!
